What is this all about?
About the Project
This project was created by E. Mackey in an attempt to provide an opportunity for creatives around the country to build their portfolios, while traveling and collaborating with other professionals and like-minded individuals.
The entire premise of this project is collaboration. Every element of this project, and its success, is dependent upon each individual playing their part and working together to solve problems, create concepts, share information, and execute their talent(s) at the highest level possible.
Since there will be so much to do in such a limited amount of time, everyone must work together to insure that the project goes off flawlessly. This project will demand very high levels of energy, and will require participants to have very early mornings. (By early, we mean LEAVING the hotel as early as 4:45am to head to a location.)
By the end of this project, every individual (that participates as scheduled) should have content from no less than 3 shoots, but may have content from as many as 9. It just depends on how hard you are willing to work.

No matter if you are looking to create beautiful video, stunning photographs, or simply want to learn, this expedition is the perfect opportunity to bring your creative vision to fruition, or to sharpen your skills.
Below are just a few of the activities we will do on the trip.
Photography
Without a doubt, photography will be one of the biggest focuses on this expedition. From selfies to professional portraits, there will be no shortage of photos taken. With an average of 2-3 shoots per day (per individual), everyone that attends is sure to come back with much more photos than they will know what to do with.
Blogging
If you are just starting out or a pro at doing it for the gram, this trip provides you with an excellent opportunity to not only get content from a beautiful island but to have that content shot by professionals that can help you take your content to the next level. Tired of never getting good photos when you travel? No problem, we’re pros.
Video Production
Undoubtedly the most relevant form of media in today’s society, video production will be one of the primary focuses of this project. Come prepared to be involved in the creation of fashion and creative videos as we capture the beauty of the island in our dynamic video projects. This is also a great time to film for a product/brand!
Workshops
It’s not all fun and games. Not only will you have the opportunity to collaborate with other creatives, you will also have an opportunity to learn from them as well! Planned workshops include Photography & Lighting, Video Production, Video & Photo Editing, and Photography & Lighting with a cell phone.

Full payment includes roundtrip travel to Kingston, Jamaica, ground transportation, lodging, and 2 meals/day.
